That is a long ride, James. Over 600 miles non-interstate. That's a hard 2 dayer...but I would be willing to do it.

yea i think riding there would suck. i'm not that hard core of a scooterist. and camping in 112 degree weather doesn't sound like fun to me either. I think it's going to be a trailor and hotel for me. so far Lila and i are planning to go.

Yo, James, IT's ON and I'M IN! Trailor and Hotel for me too. I must go to this one, and could possibly own a new Vespa S by then. I have a friend who is selling hers to me as soon as I can take over the payments. Maybe by end of year and before BEW3!

darn that is cool, I think we might be able to get a nice group from new orleans and all over LA to go. taht would be fun.

It won't that incredibly hot because it is in late May (Memorial day weekend)

i'll be going to amerivespa. not sure about trailering or riding yet. but i definitely plan on going.

If I ride I will take the GTS. If I truck I will take the PX (if it is running by then )

It's a bit off in the future but I'm hoping things will fall into place for me to attend. Is there advance registration required?

Chas, I'm down. I'll figure out my personal details as I need to (ie, getting hitch,trailer rental, etc). It's been planned, just haven't had the opportunity.

We were talking of camping again this year. The weather should still be nice and much cheaper and I H-E-double hockey sticks of a lot more fun!
I think I'll register today for the rally. You usually get something good when you register early.

I'm on the fence with camping, so much more gear I gotta bring to camp, plus this ain't the mountains.....
